We shop antique stores for old-fashioned dishpans and other containers that we believe will make a good birdbath.  Lee crafts a western red cedar 4 x 4 post and smooths it down for Gayle, who works her magic with the art.  A base is built and the container is attached, guaranteed leak proof, and then the post is coated with 2 layers of marine-grade polyurethane.  Each birdbath comes with a 12” piece of rebar for stability in case critters might try to knock it over.  A standard birdbath will have pictures of birds, flowers and butterflies, but you can request something meaningful to  you.
